Today we read stories from Alaska, My Mother’s Lap and the Big Fuzzy. We invited the children to use their cutting skills, cutting around an igloo. They glued this onto their paper and could draw their favourite part of the story. Children have also revisited the Igloo and boxes to create families and homes.

Children have continued to explore cause and effect as they engage in the police/fire station. They use the ramps to roll the vehicles down or open and shut the bars in the jail placing people and vehicles inside.

Today there was lots of building with the waffle blocks as children constructed a variety of towers then vehicles.

Elliot spent some time working out how to catch the pigeons today, he was persistent as he excitedly followed the pigeon around the deck.

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
