Juliana continued extending the children’s interest in Pirates. The children used their imagination and fine motor skills to make pirate ships. We used paddlepop sticks, paper and paint to create the boats. Children had lots of fun creating different styles and shapes on their pirate ships.
With Rosanna, the children practiced their fine motor skills by tracing, copying or creating their own oscillating lines. These experiences facilitate the children’s scissor and pre-writing skills.
Isadora facilitated the children’s knowledge of sea life. The children made jellyfish by decorating some paper plates and sticking the tentacles on.
The children have continued to practice their yoga and meditation. They are showing good balance, strength and body awareness.
