With NAIDOC week approaching, we have been talking about multiple facets of the Aboriginal culture. We looked at some beautiful dot painting with Amanda. We were then invited to make our own dot paintings. We also continued working on our drawings from the book “The Porpoise and the Kangaroo.”

Arturo continued extending our interest in pirates today. We made a crows nest out of cardboard. Then, we made telescopes to “watch the sea.” As we made these, we extended our creative sides and worked on our fine motor skills.

With Juliana, we worked on our number printing skills. We matched the number of pom poms and practised writing the number corresponding to the amount of pom poms. We also made a wonderful turtle in the sand pit today!
