Following our theme of ‘NAIDOC’ week, the children designed their own boomerang by using tree sticks as a brush to do dot paintings.
The younger Emerald children were so busy today! They are developing their sense of agency, beginning to confidently make their own choices on their favourite activities and exploring their environment.
We had group time with Meiting and Robyn. The children played musical instruments with Meiting and sang some familiar songs. The older Emerald children read an Aboriginal story with Robyn.
In the home corner, Isla M and Charlie enjoyed patting the dolls to sleep. Harvey chose to read a book about colours, Saige and Isla M were busy in the kitchen.
Kavya, Harvey and Alexia were interested in sensory play with the colourful sand with Lisa.
The older Emerald children continue the transition to Aqua room, they had so much fun today!
We welcomed Isla M today. She had a lovely happy day and was very busy exploring the environment. She liked pushing the cars and has already settled in well.
