Our older Crimson children have showed them such kindness towards our new children in the room. We have shown them how to be a member of Learning Centre. We continued with making our echidnas this morning with Juliana.
We worked on our phonetic skills as we continued to learn more about the Aboriginal culture both past and present. We said the first letter of the words we saw that we recognised, and then talked about what we knew each one meant to Aboriginal culture. For example, they represented hunting, art, bush tucker, or Dream time stories.
We began singing a new song with Bonkers today. We love learning new moves and songs! We also enjoyed using the stamps today. We coloured in each stamp to make it more unique and express our individuality.
We were busy pretending to play Aboriginal instruments, did some dot painting, and drew pictures. We also were busy in the sand pit and completing the new obstacle course.
