We started our morning with a group time where we said, “Good Morning” in different languages. We talked about some of the different languages that we speak at home, sharing and celebrating our different cultures.
This week we learnt and talked about letter “J”. Ivana brought “James” a train from Thomas the Tank Engine. Some children also had lots of fun dancing with Miss Cheryl in class.
The children continued learning about NAIDOC week, doing handprints with the colours of the Aboriginal flag and also continued doing ochre painting! We also had some children practicing their gross motor skills with the soccer ball!
Today we had our fantastic Grandparents Afternoon Tea!!! It was very exciting and special having so many grandparents enjoy the afternoon with their grandchildren. There were lots of different activities set up such a face painting, water colour paint, rice trays and playing in the sandpit… we also enjoyed some delicious food!
We thank you everyone for coming to share this day with us!
Have a great weekend everyone!
