As we continue to talk about the Aboriginal culture in celebration of NAIDOC week, we talked about some of the tools they used to hunt. We talked about spears and boomerangs predominantly. Amanda then invited us to make our own boomerangs by tracing the outline of one, cutting it out, pasting it and decorating it to our own specific designs.
We also continued with making different animals from the Dream Time stories with Juliana by making them with Play Dough.
We enjoyed playing in the sandpit, creating with the waffle blocks, and completing puzzles! We also did some painting.
