What a windy Thursday we are having! This morning, as always, we started our day with some fun group times where we welcomed all of our friends to Emerald, sang our favourite nursery rhymes and read some lovely books. This week is world book week and Evan brought in his favourite book ‘Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy’, he spent some time reading with Kruti and then shared his book with his friends in the afternoon.

We loved our yoga session with Liza this morning. After we had done our big stretches and jungle animal poses to warm up our bodies, practice our gross motor skills and encourage physical development, we tried something a bit different and used some colourful material for shaking!

The children were very excited to make some handprints and paint mugs today, a special activity for an upcoming occasion… We got crafty and practiced our fine motor skills at the same time! So much fun.

During our free play today, the children loved exploring the garden, climbing the slide and balancing on the stepping stones. We also had a lot of fun building towers with blocks and exploring our sensory tray with farm animals!! What a lovely day 😊
