On a lovely day like today, children and educators had a lot to share with each other. Together, we were able to explore our creativity and go beyond our imagination. Our children had a lot of fun with building toys, exploring the yellow colours, corks, and matching shapes.
This morning, Euan showed his favourite book, “The ABC of Prehistoric Beasts” and “Who’s Driving?”
The whiteboard gave us an excellent opportunity to practice our sharing skills and turn-taking. We had Oscar T drawing his Dad.
Last, but not least, free play provides holistic development in which children are able to enhance what they have learned, improve their socialisation with peers and educators, make the most of their imagination, express and explore their ideas, and polish gross and fine motor skills.
