Isadora extended the caterpillar activity this morning. But instead of using numbers, they wrote the letters in their names. We were proud of printing skills.
Juliana worked on our number recognition skills. We also used other items to count to match our numbers. We identified numbers that we thought looked a bit tricky.
Amanda extended the spring tree project. We were invited to create spring flowers or birds with paint. We used different colours to show how bright the new season can be. We also talked about our favourite flowers and birds.
We also liked being able to play in the sand pit after all the wet weather. We created our pictures on the white board as well as writing letters of the puzzle pictures.
During school readiness, we worked on phonetic sounds of letters. We played a game where we identified the letters and had to sound out the word that Amanda was thinking of. We took turns writing the letters as well!
