Today the children attended an Incursion called: “Wild Homes”. It was about Australian animals and wild life. It was explained to the children where the animals live, for example: inside hollow trees or logs and under rocks or trees. The children also learned about Kangaroo and Koalas and they observed that those baby animals can also live inside the mommy’s pouch.
After the discussion, the children had the opportunity to explore the environment that was set up for them. They were all engaged in a dramatic play pretending to be some Australian animals.
During Group time with Arturo Billy decided to share with us some news about his holidays in Fiji. Later on, the children had some free play.
