What a beautiful day we had today. Children got to enjoy sunny and warm day.

We started with the group time. With Ekta we sang songs with the props, inside children had the opportunity to hear songs and see Australian native animals and outside with Liza we read our favourite books “Very cranky bear” and “Where is the green sheep”. Children sat and listened attentively.

Here in BBC we love to take care of our body and mental health, so we invite children every day to do yoga and mindfulness. Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health. Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. We are so proud of our Emerald kids doing it so well.

Halloween provides many opportunities for children to explore, experiment, express themselves and provides social and emotional skill development. Children were invited to participate in Halloween activities. They were encouraged to make their own spiders from spider cut outs and black paint, whilst in the other yard they continued with making the ghosts with the cotton balls.

As warmer days are here, we encourage kids to spend more time in the sand pit. Sand play promotes physical development and eye-hand coordination and small muscle control improve as children learn to multiple sand accessories. As a part of the warm days we love to have water play and build our sensory skills.

During our free play, we played with the cars, water our plants, shared some hugs and smiles and explored our room.
