What a lovely warm spring day we have had today!

We started off with the usual group times, singing our favourite songs, playing games and reading books! Group time is a great tool for children to gain confidence, also allows children to get ready for learning in a setting which is familiar to school.

Today, we got busy painting. As Melbourne Cup is today, we celebrated Australian culture by taking about horse race, making and decorating horses. The children really enjoy the sensory experience of painting and sticking.

During our free play today, the children were able to explore the garden in this beautiful weather. They played with the dinosaurs and enjoyed in the home corner.

Also to refine our fine motor and sensory skills, we sat at the table with our teachers and played with the play dough as well as sand pit.

We’ve had a lot of fun today and learnt so much! 😊
