We engaged in a lot of fine motor activities. Amanda challenged us on our shape awareness as we talked about characteristics of different shapes as we cut them out.

We began making Chinese New Years lanterns with Jasmine and Helena. This will be a few day process in order to let our pieces dry before putting them together.

We also engaged in a lot of dramatic play in the Home Corner and Building Corner. We listened to the story “Great Galloping Galoot” and then acted out the story using the animals.

We continued working on our monster board drawings with Farzana. We show our enthusiasm and creativity as we create and describe our monsters!

We had a great time at the Power House Museum today! We were able to go on old war submarine, engage in hands on learning, and made toys out of recycled items!
