Aqua Daily Diary 21st February 2020
Happy Friday everyone!
This morning Edward and Adeline started their morning in the space station exploring the solar system and the rocket we built yesterday.
Inside Poppy and Isabella explored parts of the body by placing eyes, nose, mouth, legs etc on potato man. Poppy and Isabella were so proud when they’d finished, it is important that children can recognise and celebrate achievement of theirs and of others.
Alexia observed our pet fish ‘Popcorn’ with Liza.
Lily, Charlotte and Adeline were busy building a house as well as settling their baby dolls to sleep.
Outside Edward, Aaeesha and Isaac were on the bikes they used their big muscles to push the bikes. Bikes are a great way to develop childrne’s balance and spatial awareness, coordination patience and persistence.
Aqua Supermarket had an extension today, now we have a cafe. The children kept Imri busy making coffee for them.
At the group time we sang song of ‘5 little men in a flying saucer’ and James helped Stacie leading the group time.
With Silver’s group they made Jupiter with a balloon. They used glue and news paper we are so excited to see how this will turn out.
Stacie’s group painted stars using gold paints so we can put them in our space station. Charlotte sang twinkle twinkle little star while she was painting.
With Alejandra’s group they continued making Valentine’s card.
Aaeesha and James painted the sun.
Edward and Arda used measuring spoons to fill up pipes.
Before we have lunch many children wanted to sing ‘5 little men in a flying saucer’ song, we repeated 3 times! This time Edward stood next to Stacie and did singing and actions in front of the group. Well done Edward.
What a busy day, hope you all have a wonderful weekend and see you next week!
