With the rain today the children engaged in lots of building. They built with the magnetic coloured blocks and the large wooden blocks. They shared their ideas and work together to represent their thoughts. Learning about shape, size and weight.

We invited the children to complete a variety of patterns, following a sequence when using the snake cards. This fosters their cognitive and fine motor skills.

We have continued to explore the North Pole and Greenland, once again making ourselves as Inuit’s and building with the igloo, people and furniture. Today we added the break the ice game, where children take turns to knock the ice bricks out and keep the penguin afloat.

Children also showed an interest in using the fire and police station today. They are able to explore their world and different roles, as they engage in imaginative play.
