We were excited to get back into dramatic play today with the shop again. We talked about the important jobs all the grocery store workers have so that we all have lovely food to eat each day! We showed great turn taking as we played different roles throughout our play.

We also used our imaginations as we engaged in gross motor play. Finn pretended he was Firetruck Sam on the equipment, Billy said he was a swinging monkey on the bars, and both Harveys said they were climbing lizards.

Inside, we like playing with Playdough, practicing our number skills with the matching puzzle, and using the cork boards to hammer in our pictures.

Arturo invited us to create some signs for our shop, which we were excited to do. We showed our fine motor and creative skills as we coloured, cut and pasted our projects.

We also continued to express interest in animals and the large flip book today. We showed our cheeky side when we pretended our hands were antelars and we were deers. Then we got busy with making our own colourful animals!
