Happy Wednesday! We’ve had a lovely day playing together and keeping busy when it rained!
The children sat down for group times with their educators! We always read lots of stories and sing songs! Today we sang ‘Old MacDonald’ and put so many different animals on the farm! Cows, sheep, chickens … and even cats!
After group time the children know it’s time for yoga! A wonderful way to warm up our bodies and practice our gross motor movements! Yoga has so many benefits! With the main benefits being physical development, coordination and balance, the children can also develop their vocabulary!
During group time and when we dance the children love to sing and dance along to ‘Hop Little Bunnies’! So today the children used coloured pens to decorate their own little bunnies! Such a fun way to practice fine motor skills by gripping pens!
We got a bit messy today! The children had a fantastic time exploring how corn flour works! We mixed corn flour with water and experimented with how the consistency changes when you touch it! We got super messy and had a great time!
Today the children had fun with the trains, sea animals and sand and participating in an obstacle course in the garden!
Thanks for a fun day 😊
