Welcome back to another day in Aqua. The children have been very happy exploring all activities and their own interests within the room.
This morning Evelyn arrived in a beautiful fairy dress with many colours like the rainbow. Lily and Isla really liked it and asked her all about it. Evelyn happily told her friends where she bought it. They then did some dancing together to one of their favourite songs ‘’Let It Go’’.
After dancing some children joined Liza for some stories on the couch. The children love reading at Aqua.
Some of the children shared some really cool objects for letter of the week, which is letter ‘’M’’.
Leo brought a magnifying glass and showed us how it works by peeking through at us.
Adeline brought a book called Doctor Maisy. Thanks for sharing your objects.
Learning Centre time was full of amazing activities, lots of the them have come from children’s interest. With Helena the children have started to get creative and make their very own Jungle animals. they used fine motor skills and started to paint some fierce Lions.
Liza continues to do many activities regarding lights. Today she did a science project with the children. They poured some water, red food colouring, oil, they then placed magnesium tablet inside a bottle and watched as it formed bubbles and made what looked like a Lava from a volcano. The children loved this experiment and laughed as they saw it bubbling and glowing red.
With Nelson the children had fun in the garden completing an obstacle course. Jake showed some very good balancing skills as he walked the beam.
Dominic, Luca and Evan developed some fine motor skills when they sat to place pom-poms into the containers. They used thongs, squeezing them to pick their pom-pom up. Well Done!! Great Control!
What a fun filled day. Happy Thursday to our Aqua Families, have a lovely evening and we will see everyone tomorrow.
