It was a cold morning but that did not stop our little explorers today. They had lots of fun interesting things to explore outside and inside.
Isla had time on her own building with the small blocks. After there was a big group playing with the blocks. Annabel, Charlotte, Luca and Alejandra made some cars and houses. Luca, Levi and Georgia Hope spent time together in the sand out area scooping, making sand castles and playing with cars.
Jeffrey decided he would try balance from one side of the beam to the other. he used his arms and balanced himself to cross the beam.
Inside there was a boat made, Charlie, Hamish and Luciana explored the seas together, Carlie told Donna ‘’sail home’’.
Outside again and Adeline as always was the teacher again and read a story for Evelyne in the cubby house.
At group time we started to talk about a very special day that is coming soon. We read a story about our Dad’s and how special they are to us.
With Alejandra the children did lots of singing was happening, they sang lots of nursery rhymes, also Evelyn shared her soccer shirt for the letter of the week. How clever Evelyne and Dad.
Lots of fun things happening at learning centre time, with Liza the children explored shaving foam and sand and with Donna there also was a something very special made. Snow, the children really enjoyed this sensory time and had lots of fun exploring them. We also continued to explore the syringe and water. Today the children wanted to water the leaves with them. Jake really loved seeing the syringe as it went in and out.
With Nelson the children developed their large muscles, they jumped over the ladder and then landed in the water with two feet at the end.
With Alejandra the children are developing early mathematic skills, they used numbers 1 from 5 and stuck them on there paper and counted as they did.
Sara and Edward displayed some friendship building as they played alongside each other in the sand pit and then even made a pancake together. It is nice to see our new friends from Emerald settled so well at Aqua.
Happy Thursday Aqua Families.
