What a beautiful spring day today. The children have been enjoying their time outside. We have applied our sun cream and are wearing our hats to stay sun smart. Please make sure your child has a sun hat that covers our ears and neck and their name is wrote on it.
Leonardo has enjoyed his morning with the binoculars, he told Donna he was searching for the baby chicks we spoke about at group time. he went up the tree and looked inside for a nest. Very clever Leo!!
Also outside, Isaac, James, Oscar and Emmeline enjoyed time in the sand area. They used their fingers and let the sand flow between them laughing from the feel off it. ‘’Cold’’ James said.
Inside Lily, Evelyn and Levi Elliott enjoyed some time reading and looking at the story books.
Georgia and Elise played in the kitchen, they gave each other some lunch and coffee to eat and drink.
Adeline and Charlotte camped out inside. They made a tent with cushions.
At group times with Alejandra the children sang lots off nursery rhymes and read some stories. With Donna, Elaria brought a book to share. It was called ‘’Little Rabbit Foo Foo’’, she sat up and helped Donna hold and read the book for her peers. We also spoke about spring; the flowers and the new baby animals being born.
After group time, with Donna the children made some flower prints with paper rolls and red paint.
With Alejandra the children did their first letter of their name. They repeat the sound and used fine motor skills to stick the paper on.
Rosanna made some lovely wands for the children, they then pretended they were the good fairy from the Rabbit Foo Foo story, and they laughed together as they turned us into goonies.
It was a fun Tuesday at Aqua.
