Today, we started with dancing. Th children had great time practicing their moves and chanting very familiar nursery rhymes such as “Little bunnies”, “Wheels on the bus” and many others.

This was followed by engaging in small group times. The children shared their ideas without hesitation. They have started responding to the open-ended questions during the group times. It’a absolutely amazing to see children learning something new each day.

They enjoyed stretching their little bodies on Yoga mats. From reaching to the sky to touching the toes, the children showed great observation skills by making yoga poses.

Exploring indoor and outdoor play spaces was fun and quite a happy moment for our little Emeralds!

They did foam play with Ekta and they totally adore it. They love to make marks in the foam and on the tray. What a beautiful sensory experience. Children also had an opportunity to polish their fine motor skills and problem-solving skills by pushing the balls through the holes on the box and getting them out of the box. Well done Emerald!

Our little ones had so much fun exploring. They showed off their sitting and crawling skills.

Also, children enjoyed playing in the sand pit and with the play dough. They are great ways of improving children’s sensory skills.

Wonderful day continued with effective involvement by children. They also enjoyed matching the animal cards. What a great way to practice and improve children’s cognitive skills.

Last but not the least, Alegria and Theo loved pretend play in the kitchen and patting the babies.  Through pretend play, children learn to do things like negotiation, transfer knowledge from one situation to another, express ideas and listen thoughts. Well done Emerald! 😊
