Happy Friday Aqua group! We had a fun filled day today, the morning started like always exploring the garden area and all the was set up for us today.
Lily, Adeline, Edward and Nicolaus enjoyed the cubby house. They played peekaboo as the cubby had a cloth around it and they could hide.
Georgia and Amelia enjoyed some time together, sitting and exploring Isla’s wriggly worm she brought for the letter of the week.
In the sand pit area some off the boy’s used large motor skills to transport the large trucks around the sandpit area.
Some of the children enjoyed sand play with Teacher Hannah. They made many castles and cakes and after enjoyed stamping on them.
Inside the children had fun dancing with Katherine and making a bus with Teacher Ghazal. They visited many places, the zoo, the water park and many different places.
We also practiced our evacuation plan today. The children were amazing, calm and quick to leave the building. And then sat and listened for their name.
At learning centre there was many different activities. The children are so busy learning many things this month. They have being learning all about spring, the importance of the bees and being creative by making their own spring flowers. They used many tools to make them but today used their own fingers.
With Katherine the children are starting to learn and understand why it’s important to keep our teeth clean and healthy. They used brushes today and white paint to paint their tooth white, pretending it is toothpaste to keep it clean.
With Liza they have being learning to make healthy food choices. They used apples to make prints using full apples and half apples. They also learnt the different shapes, sizes in using the different cut apples.
With Donna some children joined her to develop cutting skills. Leonardo needed some help at the start, then was a wiz at it and made many slits in his paper controlling the scissor by himself.
What a fun day at Aqua today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
