Happy Friday! We’ve had a lovely week this week and have learnt so much about NAIDOC week and Diwali!

During group time this morning, the educators read books about Aboriginal and Australian history and culture! Together we looked at Australian animals and read books about all the different colours and what they represent!

We kicked off things with yoga today! The children were super excited to join in with Robyn and Jasmine – they love to show Jasmine what they’ve been learning! We exercised our gross motor skills and worked on our balance and coordination too 😊

The children used toilet rolls to paint beautiful fireworks with colourful and glittery paint to celebrate Diwali – the festival of light!

We used wooden blocks to make wonderful turtle and snake dot painting for NAIDOC week…

What a fabulous Friday! The children worked on their basketball skills, hung out with Marshmallow and celebrated Henry’s Birthday too!

Thank you for sharing your Birthday with us, Henry – ft. special guest Lily! We had so much fun singing and watching Henry blow out his candle!
