Happy Thursday everybody! It is nice to see more children are returning from their holidays!
On this beautiful morning, the Aqua explorers started their day off with variety of experiences. The girls, Lily, Charlotte, and Adeline were busy patting the babies to sleep. The three pretend mothers danced to some of their favourite songs after the babies had gone to bed! After dancing, the girls along with others had a story session with Natasha. Outside, Leo and Isla were practicing their creativity and fine motor skills by putting together their own Mr Potato head. They had so much fun making different faces.
During literacy group time, our new Aqua friends came to join us for stories. With Liza, the Aqua explorers requested their favourite story ‘Nee Naw Nee Naw’ and ‘rocking robin’. With Helena, the children listened to some of their favourite stories such as ‘Somewhere over the rainbow’, ‘We’re going on a Croc hunt’ as well as ‘Dirty Bertie’. Experiences such as these provided opportunities for children to extend their cognitive and language skills.
During learning centre time, the Aqua explorers were invited to different activities:
With Liza, they were invited to explore the sensory tray. The children loved feeling the texture of the red sand on their hand.
With Natasha, the children were invited to build skate park with big wooden blocks.
With Helena, the explorers were invited to explore colours with easel painting.
Outside, the children were excited to practice their climbing skill through climbing, jumping and walking on the balancing beam.
Our transition children had lot of fun in Crimson as well!
