Happy Friday and Happy Lunar New Year! It’s the year of the Ox – the children have had lots of fun learning about the New Year through arts and crafts.

During our group times this morning, the educators talked all about the New Year and even sang some Chinese songs 😊 We are so lucky to have educators from all around the world that are able to share their knowledge and culture with us!

Time for yoga! One of our favourite parts of the day – the children are always so excited! Today we followed along with our yoga songs and focused on cow, frog and butterfly poses, moving our bodies and practicing our gross motor skills.

The children had a lot of fun using their fine motor skills to stick red paper onto a Chinese lantern!

It’s Valentine’s Day this weekend! Today we baked heart shape biscuits to enjoy at afternoon tea! Baking is such a fun and sensory experience – well done everyone!

What a lovely way to end the week 😊 Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
