We started Wednesday playing with different activities such as play dough, texture drawing, office, and receptionist (imaginative play) and train set enabled children to engage, interact and socialize. During group time, we discussed about rules of Magenta and engaged in book reading with Tima. After the end of group time, children picked activities of their own choice and show their creativity in different plays.
Children were engaged in book ‘Five little men in a flying saucer’. They had finger puppets while singing along with educators. They had opportunity to count which surely developed their literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills.
In the afternoon children were engaged in music session in small groups. During music time, the children practiced holding as well as playing Violin. They also learnt how to use their own body parts to create music and rhythm. Daniel also helped them to match their tempo and rhythm along with playing instruments.
