Happy Thursday to all our wonderful Aqua Families. Today was a lovely sunny day at the Aqua room. The children’s laughter and chatter has been heard all throughout the day.
To start their morning of Zoe and Henry explored the puzzles on the green table. They had to use fine motor skills to open all the catches on the board. With little help from the teacher, they managed to complete it.
Sophia and Beaven made ramps and pushed the car down. Beaven laughed so much when it went the other side.
Alice and Poppy became the Mum’s and patted the babies to sleep.
The children had the opportunity to explore green sand in the box. They used fine motor skills to manipulate the tools to fill the cup and then emptied it out again. The children spoke about what they were doing and mostly we were making cups of baby chino for each other.
Group time came and we separate into 3 groups. We welcomed everyone to school including Della’s Monkey who comes along with her. Donna’s group has been enjoying her story on the board about the 3 little pigs and today she was joined by Nishka who brought the 3 little pig’s story books along to share for us. She confidently sat beside Donna and turned the pages as we told the story. We enjoyed it so much and thank Nishka for sharing with us.
Learning centre time was full of fun creative experiences, with Liza the children had the opportunity to explore shaving cream and make their mark in it. Henry and Ethan M used the cars to make marks in it and really enjoyed the experience.
Amandeep’s group enjoyed painting using a peg with cotton wool attached to the bottom. They loved seeing dots being made on the paper.
Outside there was a lot of gross motor activates happening. Some of the children worked as a team to roll the new tyres to one end of the garden to the other displaying good strong muscles. Some of the children walked the beam using their balancing skills.
Iris had such a smile and was so proud of herself as she made it to the top of the tree.
What a fun adventures day in Aqua today. Have a wonderful Thursday evening.
