Today was a rainy day but that does not stop the Aqua group having lots of fun.
First we would like to wish our beautiful Quinn a very happy 3rd Birthday, unfortunately with Covid we could not group all the children together to sing Happy Birthday but at tea time a few of her friends sat with her and sang to her. She had a big smile and all the children enjoyed some crispy treats she brought to share. Thank you Pip and Tomas for the lovely treats.
We had a fun day reading together or by ourselves exploring many books Natasha had ready for us today, we especially enjoyed ‘’Miss Wishy Washy’’.
Beveen, Elizabeth and Matilda enjoyed playing and exploring in the block corner making roads for the cars to go on.
Group time came and the children split into 3 small groups and read stories and sang songs on the mat. Katherines group laughed as they sang The speckled frog song. When the frogs jumped into Alison and Sophia B hand they laughed so much.
After group times the children joined some teachers to do some learning activities, we used amazing fine motor skills to make cuts in our paper with scissors.
We also had the opportunity to explore and be creative with paint, we used the easel and put paper on and used our hands to manipulate the tools to put our print on the paper.
Katherine brought some new toys to Aqua today, because we saw the fire truck in Lane Cove yesterday. Thomas M was super excited to play with the fire truck.
We used droplets again and became scientists making it go inside and back out again.
Charlotte and Alegria decided they would be doctors and book the children in for medicine with their keyboards and pads.
What a fun filled day as always at Aqua, have a nice evening everyone.
