Welcome to another beautiful sunny Thursday. It has been a warm day today and the children have had so much fun in the garden. There was a lot of laughter and exploring together.
Matilda started her morning off with some dough play, she manipulated the rolling pin to make the dough flat, while Elizabeth read her book she brought from home while she ate her brekkie.
Alegria and Sophia joined each other for story time on the mat they laughed as they tried to tell each other the story.
Isabel and Henry explored the fire truck and ambulance together. When Amelia and Zoe came to school they also enjoyed exploring the trucks. They spoke about the noise the engines make.
Molly enjoyed exploring the fire house, she opened and closed the doors.
Madeline loves to become the Mum and pat the baby, it is a great interest of hers.
Group times as always were full of fun stories and songs, Natasha read ‘’Chicken Licken’’ for the children, while Katherines group sang ‘’Old Mc Donald’’ using her props which the children love as they get to become the ducks, cows, sheep and many other animals.
Learnning centre time was full of fun fine motor and hand and eye coordination activities.
Some of the children used peg boards, while the rest used their hand coordination to insert pasta into the straws.
We also used fine motor control to cut the dough with scissors.
With Komalpreet there was a super fun science activity happening, the children coloured some tissue paper placed it in water and watched as the colours mixed together and turned the water a different colour.
What a fun Thursday we had and we wish you a fun evening.
