Happy Friday our Magenta families,
and what a great week it has been here in the Magenta room. From making our own delicious orange juice, to building our little farm house in our garden and planting our very own seedlings and coming up with ideas on how to take care of them so they grow big and strong.
Today was another day filled Friday with fun and learning experiences.
We started the day off with some yoga and practiced our yoga poses, we are getting good. Today the butterfly, frog, dog, snake poses and tree pose were very popular.
We also had self select play and lovely morning tea where we listened to some soft music and talked about soft music and talked about the fast and slow tempo’s we could her in music.
For group time we read the story…. “Tree Billy Goats Gruff”
Tima: Do you think the Billy Goat will outsmart the troll?
the children replied with a mix of yes, no…read please Tima??
Tima then said…..Watch and listen, let’s find out!
We continued with our orange juice recipe cards where we drew the oranges we juiced in the start of the week , and then added some leaves for the tree that the orange grew on before we picked it to eat. We also talked about all the fruits we could think of the that would make a delicious drink.

Zoe: “ Banana”, strawberry….
Some of our other activities today were mini exploring world , large construction where we build farm garden , mini Lego connecting blocks, puzzles drawing table , car mat , and lots of fun was had in construction zone with some magnet tiles .

Leo and Henry: we are building a garage
Zoe, Amelia, Celina, Isabelle, and Elise are helping me build a beautiful city’
WE also had home corner where we were making and selling cupcakes with Tima’s special wooden cupcakes, and a relaxing reading area and a bird watching area where we could look and draw all the birds we saw in the tree tops.
What a lovely Friday we have had, Have a lovely relaxing and safe weekend everyone, and see you all next week
