Happy Friday! We’ve come to the end of another fantastic week in the Emerald room, where the children have learnt about weather, birds and the life cycle of a butterfly!

The children started their day with group time! The children love to choose and ask for specific books to read during their group time and they always pick the songs we sing too!

There was no time for yoga today as the children were simply too busy bird watching in the yard with the binoculars that they had made and decorated! The children loved this experience and had so much fun using the binoculars to look through and see birds. Luckily, the Emerald yard is visited daily by some pigeons, so the children were excited to spot them today!

We finished off our life cycle of a butterfly by finger painting one side of our butterfly before folding it in half to see what pattern printed on the other side!

The children explored paint with their feet and made ‘muddy’ footprints on cardboard! They had so much fun feeling the paint between their toes and seeing their footprints on the floor!

Today we celebrated Ryan’s birthday! Happy Birthday little man 😊 We hope you had a lovely day!

Thanks for a great week! Enjoy your weekend and see you next week!
