Hello, Crimson families. It’s the start of a new week!! Children were happy to see their friends and had a great time throughout the day.
During group time, we gathered on the mat and talked about Halloween!! The children enthusiastically expressed what costumes they would be wearing. Many of the children said witches and skeletons. Oh, how scary! After discussion, we listened to our friends’ news. The topic for this week and next week is ‘Halloween’. All children are welcome to bring books, photos, costumes, or share stories. No children presented themed news today, but Teos and Eddie shared stories and books with us.
Teos – talked about his weekend
“I made a volcano at home. And I went to the park, played with his friends. When I was riding my bike, I had ouch on my hand. I ate chocolate cupcakes too.”
Eddie – Kids astrology books ‘Scorpio’ and ‘Sagittarius
“They are books from my home. I show you pages.” He turned the pages and showed us all the pictures.
Then, children spend their learning centre time inside of the room and on the deck. On the art table, children were invited to make spiders by cutting and sticking black paper. While working, the children discussed spiders, such as how many legs they have and how many eyes they have. Mobilo was a big hit in the construction corner. Archie, Dominic and Joshan worked together to build a city and roads for the cars they made with Mobilo. They were very active in sharing ideas and working in a respectful way.
On the deck, Arda and Thomas were busy building with magnetic tiles. It was impressive to see how they managed to create such a large building by combining different shaped tiles! Ava, Lily and Laura enjoyed playing with dolls. They used their imagination and creativity to create a story.
Thank you for a fun Monday! Have a wonderful afternoon everyone!
