Today was a bit rainy but that does not stop the Aqua group from having fun and exploring.

Starting the morning off was a small group of children in the kitchen pretending to be Mums, Dads and chefs. They played so well together and share the space so nicely. They worked as a team to get everything set up. India put the baby to bed, while Quinn took everyone’s order for breakfast.

To follow on from the play this morning, the teachers set up a restaurant at the table, the children were super excited and really enjoyed this area and sat for 20 minutes making lunch for each other.

William showed of his amazing architect skills, he built an amazing house with the blocks.

Maya loves the Mr Men and made some funny faces with them.

Group times are lots of fun, children now use cognitive skills and remember all our nursery rhymes. They welcome each other by using many different languages to say hello. They display amazing listening skills when listen to friends speak or stories being told by their teachers.

Learning centre time was full of Christmas art activities as we get ready and excited for December to roll around.

The children used their creativity to make amazing art to display in the room.

After lunch while the little ones were sleeping, the older children were very excited to see a shop set up with many different food packages that Frank our wonderful chef kept for us. The children were asking for ‘’5 dollars please’’ while the children shopped at Aqua’s Coles.

What a wonderful fun rainy day we had at BBC today.
