Happy Friday! We have made it to the end of the first week in our new Aqua room! The children have had a fantastic time and have all done a great job at transitioning together 😊

Today we enjoyed some group activities! Group activities can encourage speech and language through social interactions and promotes sharing and turn taking! We started with group time together on the mat, where we read some of our favourite books and sang lots of songs!

During yoga, the children participated in exercising their bodies with gross motor movements and other poses that encourage balance and coordination. Everyone was excited to join in and everyone was extremely helpful when it came to packing away!

We had a lot of fun continuing our Valentine’s Day craft with some stamping today! The children used a toilet roll to stamp paint onto their papers and create a lovely collage of hearts!

The children used their fine motor skills to scoop pompoms into tubs with spoons! Charlie and Liam loved to look at the different colours and show each other!

What a lovely day! The children spent their day exploring the indoor and outdoor environments. They found the bugs in the sensory tray, jumped in and out of the hula-hoop, built a really big train track and blew bubbles together!

Have a lovely weekend!
