Hello, crimson families. Welcome to another fun learning Friday  in crimson room.
We continued with sustainability project and encouraging recycling resources.
After, children were divided into their learning centre group for more activities.
In the room, children worked very hard to refine their literacy skills. First, they took part in a matching game using cards with letters and pictures. Some children then created their own matching cards by copying the pictures and letters on them. Other children also practiced strengthening hand co-ordination by stamping and tracing around the stamp.
On the deck, another group of children continued exploring recycling. After a group time discussing the need to care for trees and how this relates to recycling, they were invited to participate in an art project. They cut paper roll cores into round slices, stuck them onto paper and attached a trunk to them, creating an artwork that resembled a tree. They also did not forget to paint the areas that correspond to the leaves green.
It was a pleasant start to the week! See you tomorrow.
