Welcome Crimson Families, early morning started with music and movement activities. Children showed huge improvement on matching rhythms and beats. The collaboration of school and crimson children in music is working really well.
The News Time discussion continued with cleaning the environment and sustainable use of resources. We interacted about colours of bin and categorized items based on their nature of trash or recycling.
Kookaburras, Possums and Possums were involving in creating bin of their choice of colour. Children also distributed different items into the based on their nature. The learning experience involved hand eye coordination and sensory development of children through finger movement and hand paintings.
Platypus were engaged in the deck with sorting different garbage items into the bin. Gail was engaged with children explaining about recycling projects and how we can contribute to saving the planet.
Constructive play was main attraction for children after lunch time. Children were constructing their design using magnets, legos and blocks.
The sun was shining again which means children were able to play in the sandpit and yard. Children developed investigation, problem solving and imaginative thinking skills through creating sandcastles, chocolate cake and escape holes.
