Happy Friday! 
Today we started with the group time followed by yoga.
Book reading and storytelling helps children learn about sounds, words and language. Reading stories stimulates imagination, develops social skills and helps children learn about world.
By practicing yoga poses , children can learn how to exercise, develop confidence and concentrate better. These two activities we have as a part of our daily routine here in Emerald.
We have started to decorate our Aboriginal wall with many different creations. Today we have started to decorate boomerangs with colorful paper cuts.
Children also had an opportunity to polish their fine motor skills by pushing the straws and buttons through the holes.
Some of the children enjoyed drawing with the chalk and playing with the shakers and sensory toys.

Have a good day everyone! 
