Small group activities are great for building healthy relationships in the classroom, regulating emotions, and developing empathy. Children learn through observing how their peers solve problems or interact with each other. In a mixed ability group, children can practice leadership skills as well as teamwork. So today they had an opportunity to practice all of that with Cindy, Jasmine, and Sandra.
Once group times were over, we invited children to stretch their bodies doing the yoga. Josephine and Nicolette loved doing the same poses as Sandra.
During the group time we spoke about upcoming holidays and Easter was one of them. So children were encouraged to participate in decorating the Easter eggs. They used the crayons and glitters to finish this activity.
Drawing with chalk is always fun and today wasn’t different for Oliver and Zoe. They enjoyed making marks on the black board.

Have a good day everyone! 😊
